First, the system stores up to 30 names and numbers in the caller ID memory, so you won't have to hunt for lost numbers ever again. And to help keep you organized, it offers a phonebook feature that stores up to 70 names, performs an alphabetical search and gives you the option of assigning unique ringers to different calling parties.
You can also quickly and easily transfer a single listing or the entire phonebook. For added convenience, the handset displays the name and number of the caller in call waiting even while you are on the phone with someone else. (Note: to activate the Caller ID feature, you must first subscribe through your phone company.)
Easy Personalization
The DCX200 is easy to personalize--just create your own banner to name each handset, and then copy the phonebook from the handsets so you always have the information you need when you need it. The clock display helps keep you on time and on track, while the bilingual English/Spanish menus offer information on how to set-up and access helpful features.
About DECT Technology
Advanced DECT 6.0 technology, or Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications, operates on the newly released 1.9 GHz frequency band that was recently allocated to support cordless telephony. Uniden DECT 6.0 incorporates unique "listen before transmit" technology that avoids interference with many household products, such as baby monitors, microwaves and WiFi (which operate on frequencies like 2.4 GHz). As a result, DECT phones offer consumers enhanced voice clarity and crystal clear digital sound quality. DECT 6.0 technology also offers higher security and voice protection, as well as a longer battery and battery standby life than existing 2.4 GHZ or 5.8 GHz phones.

Did not know this phone had to be used with another unit. Cannot find main unit around here in order to use it so therefore it is worthless to me. Phone is right color and that is only good thing I can say about it

This is the perfect phone for us. It is clear and has an intercom feature that really helps. My husband and I are disabled, so if we are in different rooms it is hard to communicate. This solved the problem. I originally bought this phone for our home. This year I gave it to our nurses aid and her family. She loves it also. She replaced their old cordless phones. She says she gets a much larger range with this one. Good product. I bought 2 of the red accessory phones to add to our set and hers. Cute phone. Easy to use.

Love this phone! I live in a cinder block house and there are no dead spots anywhere in it. Even outside, it's range it better than any cordless phone I have ever owned. The sound is crystal clear and I can't tell the difference between this cordless and a regular wired phone. Would recommend this to anyone.
