No, you're not a whore. Saying sorry, I can't go out with you to Gunnar seems like the first step in this situation.People can pressure us but it's our responsibility to know our own hearts and minds and say no if we don't want something.
You need to give yourself time to get over Ryan before you date anyone else. Tell your friend this and make sure she understands that it's quite important, especially if you're already dealing with such a big thing as clinical depression.
Talk to your school counsellor. They're fantastic for getting things out of your head and being able to look at them properly. Sometimes everything seems so much bigger and harder to deal with when its only you who knows about it.
