Strange one to answer, On the one hand most girls who are embarassed to be with somoene wouldnt be quite so full on and 'into' someone when alone with them.... Yet its apparant that you will soon become upset and get your feelings hurt so tell her straight that your not going to be someones dirty little secret and she either wants you or she doesnt, not having the best of both worlds.

if she gets jealous of you speaking to other girls she clearly wants to be in control and not have anyone else have you but she doesnt completele want you.

i know this must be hard to hear but get rid and find someone less shallow. if you walk away and she suddenly wants a proper public relationship, be wary, she may change back to the way she was.

don't mess with your emotions when anyone can see that theres something not quite right here.

Well, there are two options which perfectly match two situations in my life:
I had a boy who did similar thing to me and im happy im out of it. You have to make a decision. Either you accept things as they are, because this will never change and maybe eventually she might meet someone she wont be embarrassed about and leave you, OR you make a push, tell her that this is not what you want and you cannot be with someone who is embarrassed about you. That will most likely lead to her either leaving you or making a gesture, which will decide whether she cares about you or keeps you as her "back door" if things didnt work out with another man.

The other time, i was the one feeling embarrassed to be with someone. I really loved the guy, we were together for 7 months, officially "in relationship", but nobody knew about this relationship because i didnt want people to know. And why? Ok, well this will sound bad but simply because he was ugly. I dont mean like just "not attractive" but literally ugly. I know its a bad reason and i know it makes me a bad person but i was very young and image seems so important when youre a teenager. He treated me like a princess tho so thats why i kept the relationship going. And the result? Well, i left him eventually, for someone who would treat me just as nicely, but better looking.

Im sorry to depress you but whichever situation of these two it is, its very unfair towards you. I would back out if i were you because she has no right to do this. You said shes jealous when you talk to other girls, and why is that? Because she wants your attention, even if she didnt want you. Thats the way girls are.
