Here's a bit of advice that I hope you find valuable. Never assume a guy likes you...ever. If he doesn't come straight out and tell you he likes you then "a conversation is just a conversation, a smile is just a smile, etc." All interactions are to be deemed as innocent and platonic unless you hear it straight from the source. Never listen to a friend tell you they think someone likes you. They could be playing games with you and him or possibly trying to make something out of nothing that's there. Anytime one of your friends comes to you and says something like that in the future, your response should be something similar to "if he likes me like you say he does, he can come and tell me himself-otherwise it's his problem and not mine." That will be the end of it. Don't say anything to him and make a fool out of yourself and don't listen to other people. And when you do get into a relationship with that special someone...LEAVE YOUR FRIENDS OUT OF IT! You see how your friend said something disheartening because she was mad at her circumstances? Which means if you actually had a boyfriend and things are going great between you two and she has problems, she'd cause trouble because misery loves company. I wouldn't trust any of them with any information about your personal life from now on.
